Three interesting events in the cultural life of the Chuhuiv community took place on December 4. All of them are timed to the Christmas and winter holidays, which we will soon celebrate.
The first was the presentation of the Rosary of Hope and Peace, a talisman made by artisans from our partner communities as part of the national project «Side by Side: United Communities.» The Rosary has become a common symbol of support, unity, and strong Ukrainian spirit for the Chuhuiv, Illinets, Chyhyryn, Vynohradiv, Zvyahel, Halytsia, and Fastiv communities.
Each craftswoman put her soul into her beads, making them in the traditions of her region. So the Rosary is a living thread that unites Ukraine — from East to West, from generation to generation.
Nearby, in the exhibition hall of the Image Center, the collection of embroidery by craftswoman Lyubov Kharchenko "Oberehova Svitlytsia" and the exhibition of works by famous Chuguiv artists "Messengers of Light" were presented.
The opening of the exhibitions was attended by Deputy Mayor and Executive Committee Manager Lyudmila Makarenko. She sincerely thanked the community's creative community for the festive mood and noted that such artistic events remind us of our roots and warm our hearts with a Christmas mood during this difficult time for all of us.
