The head of the Chuhuiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, congratulated the library community of the Chuhuiv community on the holiday - All-Ukrainian Library Day.
In her Telegram channel, Galina Minaeva wrote:
– The libraries of the Chuhuiv community currently have a team of true professionals working there – creative workers who have changed our idea of what a library should be like.
Nowadays, the library is a modern space where you can communicate and learn a lot of useful information, take part in various events, and get inspiration to gain new knowledge. It is also a center for generating ideas, as evidenced by the participation of our libraries in various competitions and projects. As a result, we have updated the material and technical base, replenished book collections, and filled libraries with interesting and useful equipment and supplies.
During the war, our community's libraries have become a point of support for many residents, centers for communication and mental health support, spaces for Ukrainian books and culture. Librarians organize many interesting events for community residents of all ages, which are extremely important in the stress caused by the war.
Today I had a wonderful opportunity to chat with the library community of the Chuhuiv community, to participate in a discussion of important issues that are in the focus of librarians' attention today, and, of course, to express gratitude to the librarians for their contribution to the socio-cultural life of the community.
