On the occasion of the Unity Day of Ukraine, the branch library hosted a special event for young readers — a patriotic talk «In Unity, Our Strength.» It wasn’t just a history lesson, but a heartfelt conversation about why it’s important to stick together, even when we’re different.
Inspired by the stories, the little readers decided to create their own symbol of unity. Each participant received a blue or yellow paper ribbon. On these ribbons, the children wrote their dreams of peace and warm words for Ukraine. Gluing ring to ring, the little ones created a long paper chain, where each link is a separate child, and together they are a strong and unbreakable bond. Holding the chain, the children felt that unity is not just a historical term, but a living force that begins with friendship and support from everyone who stands nearby.
This chain now adorns our patriotic corner, reminding every visitor that our strength lies in unity!
Also, thematic exhibitions were prepared in all libraries of the Chuhuiv community for the Day of Unity of Ukraine.
