Vyacheslav was born on January 18, 1996 in the city of Chuguiv. In 2012, he graduated from comprehensive school No. 3 of grades I-III of the Chuguiv city council, receiving basic secondary education. In 2015, he graduated from the Chuguiv vocational agricultural lyceum, obtaining the professions of tractor driver, single-bucket excavator driver, bulldozer driver and vehicle driver.

У 2015 році закінчив Чугуївський професійний аграрний ліцей, здобувши професії тракториста, машиніста екскаватора одноковшового, машиніста бульдозера та водія автотранспортних засобів.

In 2016-2017, he served in the border troops. He received training at the Main Personnel Training Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Major General Igor Momot. After receiving military training, Vyacheslav served in the 93rd Mostyske Border Guard Detachment, the 31st Chernivtsi Border Guard Detachment named after Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pylkevich as a patrolman.

After completing his military service, Vyacheslav worked for five years as a bander-packer at Malyniv Glass Factory LLC. He later married. The family raised two children.

The full-scale war forced the Sharypovy family to leave the city of Chuguiv and move to the Lviv region. Vyacheslav could not stay away from the war and on 02.05.2022 through the Drohobych RTCC and SP he mobilized and went to serve in the 7th border Carpathian detachment as part of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

In November 2023, he was appointed a border guard inspector of the 2nd category - gunner of the 2nd group of anti-tank missile systems of the anti-tank department of the first department of the border guard service of the fourth border commandant's rapid response of the First Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which guards sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border within the Donetsk region and the coast of the Sea of Azov. In addition, part of the detachment performs service and combat missions along the contact line within the Kharkiv region.

Circumstances of death:

In October 2025, Vyacheslav Sharypov, together with his comrades, performed service and combat tasks along the contact line in the area of the settlement of Digtyarne, Vovchansky urban territorial community, Chuguiv district, Kharkiv region. On October 23, 2025, while in combat positions, a unit of the border detachment was fired upon by the enemy and suffered losses. Several border guards of the detachment received a task from the commander to evacuate their comrades to a predetermined shelter. Having completed the task of evacuating wounded comrades and returning to their destination, Vyacheslav was seriously wounded in the lower extremities by an enemy FPV drone. Now the comrades were forced to evacuate him. At the same time, he suffered injuries incompatible with life, and death occurred in the evacuation vehicle.

On October 29, 2025, the Chuguiv community said goodbye with sadness and respect to the defender of Ukraine - Vyacheslav Sharypov, who gave his life defending the Motherland from Russian aggression. The defender of Ukraine was buried on the Alley of Memory in Chuguiv with full military honors.

The deceased is survived by his mother, wife, two minor children, and a sister.

During his service, Vyacheslav was repeatedly encouraged for his personal courage, dedication and professionalism shown while performing his duties in guarding the state border of Ukraine. On May 25, 2024, he was awarded the departmental incentive award of the State Border Service of Ukraine "For Courage in Guarding the State Border.".
