Born on July 11, 1986 in the city of Chuguiv. From 1993 to 2003 he studied at Chuguiv Lyceum No. 2. Graduated from the Lyceum. In 2008 he graduated from the Kharkiv Engineering and Construction Institute.
After graduating from the educational institution, he worked in his specialty in Kharkiv.
He was actively involved in sports (boxing and weightlifting) since school. He was a participant and prize-winner in regional and national competitions.
He loved animals very much. In his free time from studies, work, and sports, he was constantly busy with his pets.
On March 15, 2022, he was called up for mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Chuguiv CCC and SP. He served as part of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar" as a reconnaissance operator.

Sister: Samusenko Zhanna Petrovna, lives in the city of Chuguiv.
Son: Samusenko Hlib, born in 2021.
Circumstances of death:
During the fighting near the city of Bakhmut on 16.02.23, he received a serious head wound. Oleg was taken to the city of Kyiv to the National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Clinical Hospital", and then transferred to the Institute of Neurosurgery named after Acad. A.P. Romodanov NAMS of Ukraine. Doctors fought for his life for almost three months, but on 13.05.2023 he died from combat injuries.
On 05/16/23, he was buried on the Alley of Memory in the city of Chuguiv.
By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 854/2023 of December 27, 2023, "for personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath" he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
