In Chuhuiv, work continues on the issue of reintegration of veterans of the current war into community life, especially those defenders who gave their health defending the Motherland. The main tasks here at the moment are the physical and social rehabilitation of former soldiers. Regarding the first of these, the head of the Chuhuiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, today had a productive conversation with representatives of the charitable foundation "Kharkiv with You" and the program "Games of Heroes.".
The discussion focused on ways to introduce elements of adaptive sports in the Chuguiv community, i.e. physical activities for residents with disabilities. Of course, the community leadership's primary focus here is on veterans.
During the meeting, its participants discussed the possibilities of solving a very serious problem for the community - the lack of qualified and certified rehabilitation specialists to work with adults. Unfortunately, this area is currently in great demand, so the community leadership plans to take all necessary steps to resolve this issue.
We also discussed a number of points regarding the range of equipment for practicing adaptive sports and arranging the necessary premises.
