I sincerely congratulate you on the great and bright holiday - Christmas!
This year, we celebrate Christmas in conditions that are difficult to call festive. Heavy clouds of war still hang over our country, and quiet Christmas evenings in many corners of Ukraine can be interrupted by the sounds of sirens and explosions. This Christmas is permeated not only with the light of the Star of Bethlehem, but also with the light of our unbreakable faith, courage, and sacrifice.
But even in the darkest times, Christmas carries the deepest meaning – it is a celebration of the birth of hope, the victory of light over darkness, good over evil. This is a time when we especially feel unity, support each other and believe in a miracle. We believe that peace and justice will definitely win.
I would like to express special words of sincere gratitude and deep respect to our valiant Defenders, who every minute, at the cost of their own lives and health, protect Ukraine. Your courage, indomitable spirit, selflessness and heroism give us the opportunity to celebrate this Christmas, believe in the future and plan a peaceful life.
Thank you to each of you, warriors, for every new dawn, for every minute of peace, for the opportunity for our children to believe in miracles! We remember your superhuman work, pray for you, and look forward to seeing you at home!
I thank every resident of our community for their resilience, unity, and significant contribution to the common cause, as well as for helping the military and everyone in need. Our unity is our strength!
