Dear fellow countrymen, esteemed employees of local government bodies, city council members, elders, representatives of population self-organization bodies, public organizations, and all residents who care about the development of our region and demonstrate an active civic position!
Today we celebrate Local Government Day - a holiday that symbolizes democracy, responsibility, and the direct connection between government and the people. It is a day when we honor those who work every day for the well-being of the community, solve its pressing issues, and build the future.
For our community, this holiday takes on a particularly deep meaning. The war, cruel and merciless, changed our priorities, but did not break our spirit. In conditions of shelling, threats and challenges, we, like no one else, feel responsible for every step, for every decision made. Despite the war, we continue to build a strong, united community, where every voice matters, and the interests of the people come first.
Our work today is not only ensuring the vital activities of the community, providing administrative services, preserving and restoring critical infrastructure that is under attack from the enemy, but also, of course, providing maximum support to our Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We work together as a single coordinated mechanism to ensure security, support our defenders, and provide assistance to all who need it. We have proven that even under shelling, our community lives, works, and believes in Victory.
May this day be a reminder of the importance of our joint work. I wish each of you good health, inexhaustible energy, wisdom and optimism. May peace return as soon as possible, and our community prosper thanks to our unity and unwavering faith in Ukraine.
