Today, when our country is experiencing the most difficult trials, your role becomes even more significant and decisive. You are the guardians of the family hearth, a symbol of faith and hope, an invincible force that gives life and inspires struggle.
Mothers who hold the rear and pray for their sons and daughters on the front lines. Mothers who raise children in wartime conditions, but do not lose faith in victory. Mothers who have become volunteers, defenders, and a support for everyone around them. You are the heart of Ukraine.
Your maternal love is the invisible armor that protects our children from the horrors of war, gives us all courage and faith in victory. You find the strength to support your husbands, sons and daughters who defend our land on the front lines. You nurture in your children a love for Ukraine, its history and culture, and raise them to be true patriots.
On this holiday, I bow my head to each of you. Thank you for your tireless work, for your patience, for your prayers, for everything you do for your families and for our Ukraine, for the motherly love that warms even in the darkest times.
