Since the beginning of 2025, 16,879 citizens have used the services of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Service, of which 12,190 had the status of unemployed. 2,415 employers cooperated with the service, providing 7,261 vacancies. During January-March, permanent or temporary employment was provided for 6,416 people. This was reported by the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov.
According to O. Kotukov, the regional employment service continues to systematically support both people looking for work and employers in need of personnel.
The implementation of the "Army of Restoration" project continues. In the first three months of this year, 3,602 referrals for socially useful work were issued within the project for temporarily unemployed citizens and unemployed internally displaced persons. For the third year in a row, the Kharkiv region ranks first among all regions of Ukraine in this indicator.
To increase the competitiveness of citizens in the labor market, the employment service organized vocational training for 694 unemployed people. Another 348 people received training vouchers. The most popular specialties that people choose for training with vouchers are nursing, secondary education, preschool education, medicine, physical therapy, psychology, pharmacy, and professions such as social worker, medical technician, driver, security guard, electrician, and cook.
Special attention is paid to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. State grant programs are actively being implemented - «Own Business» and «Grants for Veterans and Second Spouses». This year, 174 people have already received positive decisions on the provision of microgrants/grants. Their business plans provide for the creation of 316 new jobs. Among the grant recipients are 7 combatants and their spouses; 2 are young people under the age of 25. In total, 1,035 entrepreneurs have received grants since the start of the government project «eWork» in the Kharkiv region.
«"Grant support is a real chance for people who want not only to find a job, but also to create it for others. Today, the state provides unique tools to support business in frontline areas," emphasized the director of the regional employment center.
