In order to prevent accidents and reduce the severity of the consequences of road accidents, police officers of the response department of the patrol police of the Chuguiv RUP continue to carry out preventive measures aimed at reducing the number of accidents involving motorcycles.

Law enforcement officers conduct explanatory conversations with owners of motorcycles, scooters, and motor scooters regarding the prevention of violations of the Traffic Rules, compliance with speed limits, the mandatory use of helmets and other protective equipment, and maintaining silence in the settlement.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 15 road accidents with injuries have been registered in the Chuguiv district, three of which involved motorcyclists.

It should be noted that a motorcycle, unlike a car, has low passive safety due to its design features. Therefore, even a minor collision can result in serious injuries to drivers and passengers of this type of transport.

Law enforcement officers pay special attention to maintaining silence in the city between 22:00 and 08:00. They tell us which legislative acts regulate the implementation of citizens' right to silence and what responsibility is provided. According to Art. 182 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses "Violation of the requirements of legislative and other regulatory legal acts on the protection of the population from the harmful effects of noise or the rules for maintaining silence in settlements and public places" - entails a warning or the imposition of a fine on citizens from five to fifteen tax-free minimum incomes and the imposition of a fine on officials and citizens - business entities - from fifteen to thirty tax-free minimum incomes.
