Chuguiv Region Police Reminds of Safety Rules During Attacks by Enemy UAVs

The enemy does not stop attacks using drones, so knowing and following simple safety rules can save lives.

Law enforcement officials emphasize that modern UAVs are capable of carrying a significant amount of explosives and can be equipped with sensors that respond to movement or light. Ignoring air-raid alerts or attempting to approach the wreckage poses a deadly danger.

To protect yourself and your loved ones, follow these recommendations:

During an air alert and UAV attack:

Immediately head for shelter: use specially equipped storage rooms, basements, basement floors, or underground parking lots.

If there is no shelter nearby, stay indoors, following the «two walls» rule (choose a corridor or interior rooms).

Avoid being near windows and glass surfaces.

   Don't hide in cars.

If the attack finds you on the street:

Lie on the ground in a depression (ditch, hole) or behind cover.

Cover your head with your hands or improvised objects, open your mouth.

Stay away from high-risk areas: administrative buildings, strategic and military facilities, and gas stations.

In case of detection of a UAV or its debris:

Don't get too close - the drone debris could be explosive.

Do not touch, move, or disassemble the debris.

Move to a safe distance (at least 100 meters).

Immediately report the find by calling 102, 101 or 112.

Remember: your attentiveness and responsibility are the key to safety. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
