Residents of apartment buildings in the Kharkiv region received a one-time payment from the Kharkiv branch of Gazmerezh for «Maintenance of VBSG». This payment indicates that in the building where they live, specialists from the gas distribution company performed maintenance of the common property house gas networks.
The work involves inspection, testing, and identification of deficiencies that affect the performance of gas supply systems.
Specialists of the Kharkiv branch of Gazmerezh began to carry out technical maintenance of common property networks of multi-storey buildings since February 2024. During this period, 1,652 multi-storey buildings were inspected. Another 41 buildings will be inspected in March. On average, specialists locate 5 gas leaks in each building, which indicates the importance and necessity of technical maintenance.
Maintenance of in-house gas networks is critically important for human safety. The condition of the system must be monitored by professionals, otherwise the risk of accidents increases rapidly. Specialists of the gas distribution company check the networks for tightness, possible gas leaks and localize them.
Residents of houses where maintenance of jointly owned gas pipelines has been carried out receive a one-time invoice for the services performed. The cost is determined by an estimate separately for each house and depends on a number of components: the length of the gas pipelines, the number of shut-off devices and connections on them, cases, etc.
The bill covers the costs of the work performed. This is a one-time payment that is made every 3-5 years, depending on the service life of the home's networks.
