Corteva Agriscience, an international agricultural research company, has announced the launch of the TalentA-2024 educational grant program for women farmers to strengthen and develop women's farming in the context of the full-scale war that Russia has unleashed against Ukraine. The Bukovina Regional Development Agency is the organizational partner of the program.
The program includes an online training hub covering a wide range of business management topics, as well as a grant program for participants. The grants are aimed at developing or implementing recycling and implementing social responsibility components that will contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and meeting the urgent needs of local communities.
In 2024, the program's prize fund is over 1 million hryvnias, which will be distributed among the projects that receive the highest scores as decided by the members of the expert council.
Women who meet the established selection criteria can participate in the program: age 18 or older; living in a settlement with a population of up to 10,000 people or working at an agricultural enterprise registered in such a settlement and operating for at least a year.
Applications from participants will be accepted from October 15 to November 8, 2024.
