Due to hostile shelling of critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, including the Kharkiv region, it is necessary to save electricity. We remind you of simple ways to save electricity to relieve the load on the system and avoid emergency outages.
- If you can give up using any powerful electrical appliances during the day, do it.
- Turn off or unplug appliances you are not using: even in standby mode, they consume energy.
- Use LED bulbs: they consume less energy and have a longer lifespan than traditional bulbs.
- Energy-intensive appliances should not be used during peak hours, the optimal time is from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. They should also be switched to energy-saving modes.
- Turn off unnecessary lighting.
- Do not turn on all appliances at the same time when the light appears after being turned off.
Following these simple rules will help ensure the stability of the power system.
