On September 19, 2025, the Chuguiv community held a ceremonial presentation of the state award - the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree, which was posthumously awarded to senior soldier Oleksiy Ilyakov in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 394/2025. The state award was presented to the wife of the fallen soldier, Tetyana Ilyakov, by the Deputy Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration Igor Shepelev and the Deputy Head of the Chuguiv RTCC and SP Volodymyr Fedotov.
Oleksiy Ilyakov died defending his homeland from Russian aggression. The Order "For Courage" became a symbol of recognition of the courage and self-sacrifice of a warrior, as well as a reminder to everyone of the high price Ukraine pays for independence.
