Paying tribute and gratitude for the feat and victory of those who laid down their lives for our future, on May 22, 2025, Deputy Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration Igor Shepelev, together with a representative of the Chuguiv District CCC and SP, presented the state award to the relatives of the fallen defenders - soldier Igor Zalunin from the city of Chuguiv and Sergeant Alexander Kutepov from the village of Kochetok.
By decree of the President of Ukraine, the fallen soldiers were awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree, unfortunately, posthumously. This high state award is a recognition of the impeccable performance of military duty and is awarded for personal courage and selflessness shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The awards should have been presented personally to the Heroes, but today the orders are held in the hands of their relatives. For the freedom and independence of Ukraine, the soldiers gave the most valuable thing - their lives.
Igor Shepelev addressed the relatives of the fallen defenders with words of sympathy and support and assured them of comprehensive support from the community leadership and the city military administration - the relatives of the fallen Heroes will always be provided with maximum assistance, which is within the competence of the local authorities.
