The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine continues its cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) within the framework of the "Project for the Green Recovery of Ukrainian Industry through Technology Transfer and the Creation of New Enterprises Together with Private Companies in Japan.".
The project is funded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) and implemented by UNIDO.
The main objective of the Program is to support green industrial recovery and long-term sustainable development of Ukraine through technology transfer, capacity building, and co-creation of enterprises in promising industrial sectors with high growth potential and added value for further technology dissemination and business scale-up.
Within the framework of the Project, Japanese private companies that possess technologies and are ready to contribute to the restoration of Ukrainian industry can apply for participation, provided that there is a Ukrainian partner. For companies that do not have a partner in Ukraine, a survey is announced to find potential partners among Ukrainian companies interested in the proposed Japanese technologies among the following proposals:
– autonomous mobile refrigerated warehouses (trailers) on solar batteries with a temperature control range from -25°C to +15°C. This technology will help small and medium-sized producers of agricultural, fish and food products, as well as retailers, facilitating cold chain logistics to ensure greater freshness and added value of these products in a flexible manner;
– a real-time banking infrastructure with the highest level of cybersecurity, a secure banking system for digital transaction settlements. It is expected that this technology will contribute to the modernization of the Ukrainian banking sector;
– Bio-shell CaO technology for water purification system (a small-scale water purification system using CaO made from scallop shell powder). This technology is expected to meet the needs for water purification, mainly drinking water, using CaO.
