On April 9, the Chuguiv District Police Department received a report that a 13-year-old girl had left home on April 8 and had not returned. Her whereabouts were unknown.
All police services in the Chuguiv region – juvenile police, preventive officers, and detectives – were focused on searching for the child. The police officers checked the city's playgrounds, train stations, and markets, as well as examined abandoned buildings, forest belts, and other places where the child could have been.
On April 9, at around 6:00 p.m., the underage schoolgirl was returned home. As police determined, the girl was visiting friends in Kharkiv. She was not the victim of a crime.
Currently, juvenile police officers are conducting preventive work with the girl and her family.
