The head of the Chuguev city military administration, Galina Minaeva, congratulated Alexei Bessonov on receiving a high state award.
– Today, when the whole country celebrates Heroes' Day with great respect, I have the honor to congratulate one of such Heroes, our countryman, brave warrior and true officer – Oleksiy Aleksandrovich Bessonov. The reason for such a greeting is the most pleasant: the commander of the unmanned systems battalion, Major Bessonov, was awarded a high state award – the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky. Almost the entire glorious military path of this officer is connected with our native 92nd Infantry Brigade named after Ataman Ivan Sirko, which gave Ukraine hundreds of true heroes. I congratulate Major Alexei Bessonov and all his comrades on the holiday and wish them to return to their families with victory as soon as possible!
