This was announced by Yevhen Ivanov, Deputy Chief of the KHOV, during a briefing at the Official Media Center of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Currently, there are 841 Invincibility Points in the Kharkiv region: 362 deployed by local governments and military administrations, 53 by units of the State Emergency Service in the region, 10 based on railway stations, another 353 opened by retail and responsible businesses. Also, 354 heating points have been prepared for operational deployment.
«"As a result of Russian attacks on critical infrastructure facilities and worsening weather conditions last week, more than 8,000 people used the Invincibility Points in the Kharkiv region. Since the beginning of the year, about 30 thousand people have used them, and over the entire period of operation of the Points, more than 840 thousand residents of the region. The issue of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the Points is under the personal control of the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov. We are in constant contact with responsible persons so that the Points are provided with the necessary material and technical base for long-term work in the event of an emergency," Yevhen Ivanov reported.
In addition, almost 200 Invincibility Points can provide visitors with hot meals. The capacity allows for the preparation of up to 65,000 portions per day.
