Over the past 24 hours, rescuers in the Kharkiv region extinguished 69 fires in natural ecosystems. The area of burned land was about 62 hectares.
The cause of these fires is human negligence or deliberate burning of dry wood.
The harmful, barbaric habit of burning dry vegetation remains from the Soviet era. As a result of burning last year's grass, large-scale fires occur that destroy our environment. Plants and animals die, the composition of the soil is depleted, atmospheric air, surface and groundwater are polluted. Ecosystems lose biodiversity for many years.
Remember, fires in ecosystems can cause the fire to spread to forest areas, residential buildings, and nearby structures!
Administrative liability for burning stubble, meadows, pastures, and fallen leaves ranges from 3,060 to 6,120 hryvnias.
Be responsible!
