Representatives of the Youth Council under the Executive Committee of the Chuguiv City Council and the MC Campus took part in a meeting with members of the Youth Council under the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, headed by Georgy Paziy, and representatives of youth advisory bodies, student councils, and active youth of the region.
«"Involving young people in legislative processes and the formation of state policy contributes to the development of an effective regional development strategy. It is active youth that today determines the pace and direction of development of the Kharkiv region and our state.".
"We comprehensively support systemic cooperation and take into account important initiatives in order to integrate them into practical work," said Vita Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Kharkiv OVA, during the meeting.
The participants of the event discussed the main areas of activity of the Youth Council, considered current legislative initiatives, and outlined ways to strengthen youth participation in shaping public policy.
