Since the beginning of this year, 270 residents of the Kharkiv region have taken advantage of the opportunity to receive a voucher for state-funded education. This was reported by the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov.
«"A training voucher is a unique opportunity to improve your qualifications or acquire a new profession with the support of the employment service. In the Kharkiv region this year, the following specialties and professions are in greatest demand: psychology, secondary education, nursing, medicine, social worker, driver, physical therapy, security guard, electrician," notes the head of the regional employment service.
The voucher allows free training in specialties included in the approved list. Its cost cannot exceed ten times the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons. Currently, the maximum amount of the voucher is UAH 30,280. Financing is provided by the Compulsory State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine in case of unemployment. If the cost of training exceeds the specified amount, the employer or the applicant himself can pay the difference at his own expense.
It is important that the voucher can be used only once. Citizens independently choose their profession, educational institution and form of study. Certain categories of citizens who are not registered with the employment service as unemployed and meet certain criteria have the right to receive a voucher.
To receive a training voucher, you can apply online or apply to the nearest branch of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center or its structural unit.
After completing the training, the applicant receives a state-standard education document.
