The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, as the national coordinator in the field of combating human trafficking, draws attention to the fact that HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS MODERN SLAVERY!

Human freedom is one of the main values of a modern civilized society, and ensuring the inviolability of personal freedom is one of the main functions of the state.

If:

  • You were forced to work;
  • You were not paid the promised salary;
  • Your passport or other documents have been taken away from you;
  • You were forcibly held and controlled;
  • You were threatened, blackmailed;
  • You were forced into begging;
  • You were drawn into prostitution, the porn business;
  • You have encountered deception, violence

YOU HAVE BECOME A VICTIM OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

In this case, you must contact the local state administration and law enforcement agencies at your place of residence or call the 24-hour "hotline" at 15-47.

The National Social Service of Ukraine deals with the issue of preventing and combating human trafficking: makes decisions on establishing/refusing to establish, extending/refusing to extend, depriving a person of the status of a victim of human trafficking; conducts an analysis of the activities of entities implementing measures in the field of combating human trafficking; coordinates and controls the activities of institutions that provide assistance to victims of human trafficking, including referring victims of human trafficking abroad and returning to Ukraine to the institution, if necessary, providing them with temporary asylum; carries out measures aimed at eliminating the prerequisites for human trafficking.
