According to him, the CT scanner, which was purchased with state funds for our hospital in 2021, is currently operating at full capacity. Patients have the opportunity to undergo CT scans free of charge, but only upon referral from specialized specialists.
This condition of the hospital administration was prompted by life itself, because previously many patients expressed a desire to undergo a CT scan for sometimes rather curious reasons: out of simple curiosity about their health or even, as it seemed to them, for medical purposes.
Doctors emphasize: due to the significant radiation exposure, computed tomography is a rather dangerous procedure that should not be performed for preventive or cognitive purposes at the patient's own request. Only if your doctor determines its necessity, this service will be provided professionally and without any queues.
Therefore, the patient must agree with their doctor on the need for a CT scan, and there is an opportunity to have it performed in our community.
