On December 22, it became known that a 25-year-old resident of the village of Sonino, Velykoburlutsk community, had disappeared. He had gone fishing at a local pond in the morning and had not returned by evening. The pond was covered with ice, but due to fluctuations in ambient temperature, it had not gained sufficient strength.
Today, divers from the Kharkiv Regional Municipal Emergency and Rescue Diving Service recovered the body of a drowned person from the reservoir.
We draw the attention of citizens to the need to follow personal safety rules on frozen bodies of water. Currently, the ice cover is too thin and fragile, so going out onto the ice is dangerous for life!
