In a solemn atmosphere, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, presented a diploma and a commemorative badge of Honorary Citizen of the city of Chuguiv, Hero of Ukraine, to a serviceman of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, Lieutenant Colonel Andriy Tsarenko.

Andriy Tsarenko is one of the thirteen defenders who, in May of this year, according to the Order of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, were awarded this highest distinction for the Chuguiv community. Together with his comrades, he made a personal contribution to the defense of our community from the Russian invaders. It is especially pleasant that Andriy Yurievich, our fellow countryman, was born in Chuguiv, and his whole life has been connected with our city. For a long time, due to his official duties, he did not have the opportunity to receive a Diploma and sign the Book of Honorary Citizens, but on July 31, the award finally found its hero.

On behalf of all compatriots, Halyna Minaeva congratulated the new Honorary Citizen and thanked him for his selfless service in defending Ukraine. We remember that it is thanks to the heroism of our soldiers that even during the war, the Chuhuiv community lives an almost normal life.
