The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, is currently in Switzerland, where she is participating in a week-long study trip organized as part of the initiative "Energy Efficiency in Municipal Administration: Establishing a Partnership between Ukraine and Switzerland.".
The initiative is implemented by DPI and Econcept (Switzerland) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit within the framework of the program "Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine".
Galina Minaeva reported on the details of the trip on her Telegram channel:
– We are studying issues of alternative energy, waste management, water supply, sewage, and transport. And, of course, as always, I am looking for new partners and friends for the Chuhuiv community!
In the city of Lucerne, a tourist center in Switzerland, local experience in using alternative heat sources to heat urban infrastructure was studied.
We also learned about the experience of the city of Khorv, which received a gold award for the implemented measures to save energy and replace traditional energy.
What I saw was truly impressive. The organization of production, the quality of equipment, the perfect cleanliness, and, in general, the level of technology that the Swiss use in the housing and utilities sector are still unattainable for Ukraine, but step by step we must approach these high standards.
