On October 30, Kyiv will host a large-scale one-day event - "Fitness Forum: Adaptive and Inclusive", initiated by the NGO "STRUM" with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. The forum will bring together physical therapy specialists, trainers, volunteers, rehabilitation specialists and everyone who seeks to work with veterans and people with disabilities - through physical activity, care and understanding. The goal is to create a community of specialists who are able to safely, consciously and effectively train veterans, helping them with recovery and social adaptation. The forum program combines knowledge, experience and practice: from a basic understanding of the characteristics of combat injuries to building a training process taking into account PTSD, amputations, prosthetics and the psychological state of the military. Forum participants will receive a certificate of participation.
