The cultural and leisure trip to Germany was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Chuguiv community with the cities of Nordhorn and Coevorden.
The cooperation of the Chuguiv community with the city of Nordhorn (Germany) began with the assistance of the Cities in a Single World (SKEW) service in 2022. After the first meeting, the communities realized that our cities have a lot in common, and most importantly, they are open to cooperation and share common European values.
The city of Nordhorn, in turn, has a long-standing sister city relationship with the Dutch city of Coowarden, which has also expressed a desire to support our community during this difficult time.
One of the results of the tripartite cooperation of the communities is that right now, from June 8 to 20, 20 children from the Chuhuiv community are participating in a cultural and leisure trip to Germany. We hope that this trip will allow our children to relax a little, get away from the war, and gain positive emotions.
