In conditions of martial law, limited domestic consumer market, and constant need to strengthen the financial and economic stability of the state, the development of exports of Ukrainian goods, including through the entry of domestic manufacturers into international electronic trading platforms (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and others), is becoming particularly relevant.
The sale of Ukrainian products on foreign markets through global marketplaces is of national importance, as it provides:
- attracting foreign exchange revenues to the economy of Ukraine;
- strengthening the national currency and the state's balance of payments;
- expansion of sales markets for Ukrainian producers, including small and medium-sized businesses;
- creating and preserving jobs in territorial communities;
- increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods on world markets.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with the state institution "Office for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Export", is implementing the national project "Diya.Business", within the framework of which a complex of free educational programs, consultations, and practical materials aimed at supporting entrepreneurs in matters of export and international e-commerce has already been created and is functioning.
