The periodic lack of water in homes is caused by the fact that the booster pumps operate on electricity, which has recently experienced serious problems due to Russian shelling of Ukraine's power-generating infrastructure. The pumps will be powered by backup generators only in the event of prolonged power outages during so-called blackouts.
As for short-term planned power outages, the administration of the Chuguyivvoda municipal enterprise asks consumers to stock up on water for this time and to be understanding of the difficulties caused by the aggressor's actions.
