Zolochiv, Dergachiv, Kupyansk, and Chuhuyiv communities of the Kharkiv region received specialized vehicles to respond to emergencies and provide basic needs of the population.
The vehicles were transferred as part of international technical assistance with the assistance of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the Government of Germany, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine, and the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance (THW).
«These cars were jointly financed by the European Union through the EU Foreign Policy Instrument (FPI) and the German Government. The support was implemented through the Stabilization Platform (USA), created at the request of the German Federal Foreign Office. We are sincerely grateful to our partners, in particular the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Martin Jaeger, for their constant attention to the Kharkiv region and specific assistance to communities that are under enemy fire every day,» emphasized the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.
The availability of equipment will allow communities to quickly respond to emergencies, deliver humanitarian cargo to remote settlements, and support the local population in conditions of constant danger.
