The cultural and leisure trip to Germany was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Chuguiv community with the cities of Nordhorn and Coevorden.
On June 24, children who visited Germany met with the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva. These are the children of our defenders, fallen soldiers, as well as students who are winners of city and regional Olympiads.
The trip's program of events included tours of the landmarks of the cities of Nordhorn and Coevorden, meetings with their mayors, and communication with peers from Germany.
– I was very pleased to see and hear with what enthusiasm the children talked about their impressions of visiting Europe, how their eyes shone when they remembered interesting and funny moments of the trip. And my heart sank with pride for our youth, who saw a calm, safe and prosperous Western life, but still consider their native Chuguiv to be the best city in the world, as before, – wrote Galina Minaeva in her Telegram channel. – I express my sincere gratitude to the service «Cities in a Single World» (SKEW), as well as to the municipalities of the cities of Nordhorn and Coevorden for the warmth and hospitality with which they welcomed our children.
