Employees of the Chuguiv district electricity distribution (PDE) of JSC "Kharkivoblenergo" took part in a donor event that took place in one of the medical institutions of Chuguiv.
The head of the Chuhuiv RRE, Yevhen Goncharov, said that due to work, the employees of his unit do not have the opportunity to participate in the "Blood Saves Life" campaign, which is constantly held in the society in Kharkiv. That is why it was decided to join a similar event in Chuhuiv.
«"We contacted the doctors and found out when the mobile team of the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service Center would work in our city. On the appointed day, we organized ourselves, came to the collection point and all donated blood together. A total of 14 employees came. I believe that in such an extremely difficult time for the whole country, everyone in their place can do something for the public good: work, volunteer, help those who need it most. Donation is our personal contribution to this cause and the opportunity to save someone's life, which, in my opinion, is the most important thing. I am grateful to the team for supporting my initiative and becoming donors," said Yevhen Goncharov.
He also added that by their example, energy workers would like to encourage people who have the desire, but do not know how to help the country today, to also join the donor cause and donate blood.
