It is impossible to get used to such tragic news. The pain that we all feel today will remain with us forever, as will the bright memory of our Heroes.
49-year-old Staff Sergeant Ivan Eismont died on May 15, 2024 while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Georgiyevka, Donetsk region, as a result of mortar shelling by the enemy. Ivan Viktorovich showed steadfastness and courage in the battle for our Motherland, remained faithful to his military oath to the last and died as a Hero.
41-year-old police major Andriy Ladyka, inspector of the patrol police response sector of police department No. 1 of the Chuguiv district police department, died on May 22, 2024 during a trip to evacuate civilians from Vovchansk. As a result of a Russian drone hitting his official vehicle, he received injuries incompatible with life. We thank the police officer for his loyalty to the Oath and service to the Ukrainian people.
Andriy Ladyka and Ivan Eismont were buried on May 24 in Chuhuiv on the Alley of Memory with military honors.
