On March 21, a 35-year-old soldier was buried with military honors on the Alley of Memory in Chuguiv. The Chuguiv community mourned with deep sadness the death of a devoted defender of Ukraine who died defending his native land from the Russian aggressor.
Sergey Lomako was born in the city of Chuguev on July 12, 1989. He studied at school No. 4, then received the profession of a game expert at the Chuguev-Babchansk Forestry College. After studying, he served for some time in the 92nd Motorized Rifle Brigade.
In the war – since 2022. Served in the 2nd self-propelled artillery division of the 1st separate tank Siverskaya brigade. Died on March 17, 2025 in Sumy region.
The entire Chuguiv community bows its head in deep sorrow before the bright memory of the Hero and expresses sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and brothers. Eternal memory and glory to the fallen defender of Ukraine.
