Once again, sad news has reached the Chuguiv community – our fellow countryman, serviceman Ilyakov Oleksiy Anatoliyovych, has died. The enemy has cut off another life, another heart that beat for Ukraine…
Oleksiy was born on December 11, 1973 in the city of Chuguiev, where he studied at school No. 5. After school, he did military service. After the army, he served in the guard regiment of the Donets Water Treatment Complex. In the 90s, he served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Since 2019, Oleksiy has lived with his family in the village of Kochetok.
In 2020, Oleksiy Ilyakov joined the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2023, he volunteered for the 116th Motorized Rifle Brigade.
The defender constantly sought to improve in military affairs, maintained morale in the unit and courageously overcame all difficulties. Oleksiy remained a faithful son of Ukraine until his last breath, bravely resisting the invader trying to destroy our people.
Oleksiy Ilyakov died on March 17, 2025 in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region.
