On May 5-6, 2025, at the invitation of the Czech Institute of Healthcare Technologies, a delegation of the Chuguiv community, led by the head of the city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, participated in the international conference Global Healthcare Initiative for Ukraine, which was held in Prague.
The purpose of the visit is to learn about advanced European experience in the field of rehabilitation and strengthen partnerships for the development of this critically important industry in our community.
Today, the Chuguiv community is faced with not only the task of stable provision of medical services - the community leadership is consciously focusing on creating a high-quality rehabilitation system for our defenders, civilian residents who have been injured, and all who need support to return to active life. Rehabilitation is about human dignity, about a chance for recovery, about the care that the community should show to everyone.
During the conference, the Chuguiv delegation took part in a number of important meetings, in particular with representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic. Agreements were reached on a visit of representatives of the Embassy to our city to determine the detailed terms of cooperation. It is expected that the Czech Republic will help equip the Chuguiv hospital with modern rehabilitation equipment.
In addition to participating in the conference, the delegation visited one of the most modern rehabilitation centers in the Czech Republic, where they work according to European protocols and use advanced medical equipment. What we saw became not only a source of inspiration for our delegation, but also a concrete guideline for what rehabilitation in the Chuguiv community should be like.

We are confidently moving towards ensuring that every community resident who needs help receives it - high-quality, affordable, and timely.
We would like to remind you that thanks to cooperation with the Czech Republic, during 2023-2024, the Chuhuiv community received 6 cogeneration units, medical equipment for 6 general therapy rooms, 1 day surgery room, and 1 gynecology room, as well as tents and sanitary containers as part of the Mobile Housing Complex project. The total cost of the assistance received is UAH 146.5 million.
