Heroes' Day is celebrated on May 23. This date unites generations of Ukrainians who fought for the freedom and independence of our state at different historical times. And today, during a full-scale war, it sounds especially painful and at the same time proud, because we remember those who gave their lives for Ukraine and thank all who continue to defend it.
The morning in the community began with a commemoration of our fallen Heroes-compatriots. Representatives of the city and district military administrations, military personnel, law enforcement officers, and community residents gathered at the Alley of Memory of the Fallen Soldiers.
With a minute of silence and laying flowers, those present paid tribute to the defenders who, at the cost of their own lives, defended their native land, peace, and the future of Ukraine.
We remember everyone.
We bow our heads to the feat of our Heroes.
And we thank those who continue to hold the Ukrainian sky and Ukrainian land today.
