Once again, the Chuguiv community suffered an irreparable loss – our fellow countryman Serhiy Mykhailovych Radchenko died in the war. On February 26, the Hero was laid to rest in Chuguiv.
The man joined the defense of Ukraine in the spring of 2024. He was called up for military service under a contract on May 13, 2024 by the Chuguiv RTCC and SP.
Staff Sergeant Serhiy Radchenko served in the ranks of the legendary 92nd OShBr as the commander of an easel grenade launcher of an anti-tank platoon of an assault battalion. He died on February 20, 2026 near the settlement of Novooleksandrivka, Synelnyk district, Dnipropetrovsk region, while performing a combat mission.
The Hero was buried in Chuguiv on the Alley of Memory with full military honors.
