The Chuguiv community has already begun preparations for the next heating season, despite the fact that the winter work cycle of housing and communal services enterprises is still ongoing. This was reported by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva.
According to her, the key challenges remain the security of critical infrastructure facilities, their energy sustainability, as well as the availability of the necessary resources and materials for the uninterrupted operation of utilities. Support from international partners is invaluable in solving these challenges.
Halyna Minaeva discussed these issues during a meeting with Georgy Bakholdin, a representative of the French humanitarian organization Triangle Génération Humanitaire Ukraine. The parties considered possibilities of supporting the community in preparing for winter.
In particular, the issue was the potential purchase of materials for the maintenance and repair of water and heating facilities, their physical protection, the restoration of damaged buildings, as well as support for centers for temporary residence of IDPs and the reconstruction of residential premises for the needs of community residents with limited mobility.
According to Georgy Bakholdin, helping the Chuhuiv community is currently one of the organization's priorities. This gives reason to count on active and productive cooperation over the next two years.
Halyna Minaeva, for her part, assured that the Chuhuiv community will remain a reliable partner for international humanitarian organizations, which has already been confirmed by previous experience of cooperation.
