Once again, tragic news shook the Chuguiv community. Our fellow countryman, military serviceman Yuriy Mykolayovych Ostapenko, died. On Sunday, May 19, the Hero was buried with military honors on the Alley of Memory in Chuguiv.
Major Yuriy Ostapenko served in the air defense forces, defending the skies of Ukraine, including the Kharkiv region. He died heroically on May 16 while on combat duty.
