All this and much more will be learned by Chuguiev women over the next six weeks during the implementation of the project "Leadership and Gender Equality: Activation and Advocacy in the Chuguiev Community.".
In our community, it is implemented by the NGO "Another Woman" in partnership with the Center for Gender Culture with the support of the Women's Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Aid and UN Women.
Today, the first meeting, which actually launched the project, took place at the Center for Sustainability. The topic of discussion was equal rights and opportunities for women and men and the destruction of gender stereotypes.
During the next meetings, project participants will learn the basics of psycho-emotional self-regulation, develop leadership skills, and try to activate the role of women in community life.
According to Iryna Kuznetsova, head of the NGO "Another Woman", the ultimate goal of the project is to increase women's participation in the processes of strategic development and restoration of the Chuhuiv community.
