This is exactly the important question that was addressed at the meeting with parents of family-based education in the Chuguiv community on the topic "Financial freedom. A comprehensive approach to forming a financial safety cushion.".
The event was held as part of the UNICEF project «Strengthening Alternative Care through Support for Better Care Reform in Kharkiv Oblast.» The speaker of the meeting was Maryna Vysotska, a financial literacy trainer.
The main goal of the meeting is to help parents better understand the principles of financial literacy, learn to manage their family budget, evaluate their own capital, and create a financial safety net.
The event discussed the concepts of financial independence and freedom, how much money is needed for happiness, what are the types of capital, what is a financial airbag and how it works.
During the practical part, participants determined the required amount of financial safety net and received recommendations on its formation and structuring.
At the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual consultations.
