On August 13, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chuguiv City Council and the public organization "Urban Reforms".
Now, during a full-scale Russian invasion, one of the main tasks of the local authorities is to preserve the settlements of the community in such a condition that the residents have decent and, as much as possible during the war, comfortable living conditions. However, after the end of the war, an even more difficult task will arise - to make the settlements even more modern and comfortable than they were before 2022, it will be necessary to create such conditions that business will return to the community, its residents who are still outside its borders will return. Therefore, it is very important for all of us, Chuguivtsi, to develop a common vision of tomorrow's development of the city - believes the head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, and for this purpose the local authorities are ready to involve serious specialists in the field of urban planning.
So, on August 13, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chuguiv City Council and the public organization "Urban Reforms", which since 2014 has been creating and searching for new ideas for cities, using various methods of their development.
The team of the NGO "Urban Reforms" includes architects, urban planners and landscape architects, logistics specialists and even sociologists. The subject of cooperation between this organization and the Chuguiv community will be the development of the future post-war spatial development of the city, taking into account the wishes and needs of its residents. And for this purpose, numerous interviews, focus groups, sociological research, trainings for public representatives will be conducted, and most importantly - a comprehensive urban design of the architectural objects of Chuguiv.
So, while working on today's problems, the Chuhuiv community does not forget to look with optimism to the future of their hometown!
