In order to prevent rabies in domestic animals, specialists of the Chuguiv District Veterinary Medicine Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Hospital of Veterinary Medicine will conduct preventive vaccinations of dogs and cats against rabies on August 7, 9 and 12, 2024 in the city of Chuguiv at the address: Oleksandra Zachepyla St., 15, tel. (05746) 2-21-16. Working hours: Mon-Thu from 8:00 to 16:45, Fri from 8:00 to 15:45, Sat-Sun - weekends.
Preventive vaccination will protect the animal from rabies infection for 1 year.
We emphasize! Rabies is an extremely dangerous infectious disease common to humans and animals, accompanied by severe damage to the central nervous system and always ends in death.
To prevent rabies in animals, all pets must be vaccinated annually, starting at 3 months of age.
Remember, rabies cannot be cured, it can only be prevented! The most effective way is vaccination!
The rabies vaccine is free, the cost of the preventive vaccination service is 11.05 UAH.
Over the past week, specialists from district veterinary medicine departments in Chuguiv district immunized 799 domestic animals against rabies, including: 122 dogs, 125 cats, 530 cattle, and 22 domestic animals.
