Ceremonies dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of our outstanding compatriot, the world-famous artist Ilya Repin, have begun in the Chuguev community.
Today, several of them took place at once: an interactive quiz «Repin – Chuguiv Cossack», exhibitions of photographs and books, master classes in applied art, lectures on interesting facts from the life of the hero of the day and even tea parties with recipes, which Ilya Yukhymovich was eager to do. It was interesting for everyone – from younger schoolchildren to art connoisseurs of a respectable age. The organizers of the events – the Public Library, the I.Yu. Repin Art Memorial Museum, the Center for Tourism and Local Lore – found a separate interesting thing for each guest.
We would like to remind you that the anniversary of Ilya Repin will be celebrated next Monday, August 5.
