In the conditions of a full-scale invasion, our community is constantly suffering from shelling, we have numerous destructions and damages to residential buildings, educational, cultural, medical, critical infrastructure, etc., but the most heartbreaking thing is that the residents of our community are injured and losing their lives. That is why it is extremely important and very pleasant to receive help from our partners, true friends - the Dnipro City Hall represented by the head Borys Filatov. It was thanks to his efforts that we managed to give a new impetus to the intermunicipal partnership between the cities of Ukraine and the city of Milan (Italy).
City and suburban buses were transferred to Ukraine as humanitarian aid by the city hall of the Italian city of Milan and its municipal transport company ATM. Chuguiv urban territorial community is among those communities for which 4 buses, which we need so much, are provided. The buses are in good condition. They arrived in Chuguiv from Italy on their own. After documenting, we will use them to transport the children of the community from remote settlements, and in the event, God forbid, of a deterioration in the security situation, to evacuate the population to safer areas.
– I sincerely thank the mayors of Dnipro, Boris Filatov and Milan, Giuseppe Sala, and ATM General Director Arrigo Gianna for making so much effort in such a difficult time to establish cooperation between municipalities, taking care of people, providing them with what they lack. It is nice that our friends are concerned about the problems of other communities and are always ready to come to the rescue.
